2D shapes : A two-dimensional (2D)
shape can be defined as a flat plane
figure or a shape that has two
dimensions- length and width.
Length: Longest side of a shape.
Width: Shortest side of a shape.
Two-dimensional or 2-D shapes do
not have any thickness and can be
measured in only two faces.
A square, circle, rectangle, and
triangle are examples of two-
dimensional objects. We can classify
figures on the basis of the dimensions
they have.
