Steps to do Long Division without Remainder ( 3 digits by 1 digit)

Example i) 642 ÷ 2

First arrange the numbers in HTO column.

Step 1- Arrange the dividend and divisor.

Step 2 – Start with Hundreds place.

Divide 6 Hundreds by 2. We know that

2× 3 = 6 or 6 ÷ 2 = 3
