Face Value is the value of the digit itself. It is the

actual value of a digit.

It does not depend on place of the digit.

Face Value of a digit remains the same at all the

places.

Example i- Face Value of 9 in 95 is 9.

Example ii- Face Value of 3 in 350 is 3.
