  Animals like horses, cows, goats, sheep, and pigs they usually live in
                   barns or shed
                 Foxes, rabbits, prairie dogs and ants all live in underground holes.
                 Snails, crabs, and turtles have ‘built on’ shells.

                 Dog lives in kennel, ant lives in ant-hill and spider lives in web.
                 Habitat:  Animals are adapted to life in their natural surroundings.
                   These different environments are called habitat. Every animal has its
                   own favourite habitat which it shares with other animals. Example:
                   Desert, Meadow, Woodland, Grassland, Forest, Seashore, Ocean

               Learning outcome: Children learnt about the homes and habitats of
               different animals.
