               Learning objective: Children will learn about food habits of different
               animals.

               Animals get food from the environment in which they live. Different

               animals have different eating habits.

                 Some animals eat only parts of plant (roots, stems, leaves, seeds,
                   fruits etc). They are called as herbivores. Examples of herbivores: -
                   sheep, horse, cow, rabbit etc.

                 Some animals eat only flesh of other animals. They are called as
                   carnivores. Examples of carnivores: -lion, tiger, eagle etc.
                 Some animals eat both plants and flesh of other animals. They are
                   called as omnivores. Examples of omnivores: -hen, crow, bear,

                   chimpanzee etc.

               Learning outcome: Children learnt about food habits of different
               animals.
