 Reuse means to use the same item more than once, rather

disposing it off after one use.
 Reduce means to consider what resources you are using and how
you might use less of them.

 Recycle means to make a new thing out of something that has
been already used before.

The beneficial effects of applying the 3Rs:

 Prevents pollution caused by reducing the need
to harvest new raw materials.
 Saves energy.
 Saves money.

Learning outcome: The students understood the importance of the
3R’s.
