Learning objective: Children will learn about some other types of plants
like weeds, wild plant and aquatic plants.
• Weed plant - A plant that grows easily but is not planted by us or may
even be harmful to other plants around it. Example: Duckweed,
dandelion, etc.
• Wild plant - Wild plants live or grow in natural surroundings and are not
looked after by people. Example: Firewood, mallow
• Aquatic plant - a plant that grows in water whether rooted in the mud or
floating. Example: Water lily, lotus, etc.
