An adverb tells you how, when,
where, or how often something
happens or is done.
"He ran quickly to the park." Here "quickly" tells how he
ran and that many adverbs explain how something
happened.
"I came to school yesterday." "yesterday" tells when the
action happened.
"We can play inside." "inside" tells where it happened.
“She usually goes to temple.” Usually says how often
she goes.
