Rules to make simple present tense of
verbs
• Verbs change with 3 person singular noun

/pronoun but remain same in 1 st and 2 nd person
singular and plural noun/ pronoun.
• 1 Person: I wash my face with soap and water.

• 2 nd Person: You wash your face with soap and
water.

• 3 Person: He washes his face with soap and
water.
* In above sentence , after 3 person singular we

added –es with the verb wash. As studied
different rules in singular /plural accordingly we
add –s ,-es and –ies with the verbs .
