1.A male member of a species is a masculine gender. Ex- father, uncle

2. A female member of a species is a feminine gender. Ex- mother, aunt

3. A common gender is used for either or both male and female
species.Ex-doctor,lawyer.

4. A neuter gender refers to a member of a species which is neither male
norfemale and most of the times it is a non-living thing.Ex-tree, car.
