thought that the lion would eat him but was surprised when the lion
                       started petting him. The dog and lion then became friends. The lion

                       was no longer angry because friendship is a beautiful gift.

                     When we are sequencing , we should always divide the story into

                       parts. We use words like first, then, next, after that and finally to put
                       the story in the correct order.



                     When we are summarizing a story, we have to take only the main
                       events and put it all together. There are usually three parts in

                       summarizing a story. The parts are – beginning, middle and end. We
                       have to write what happened in the beginning of the story, middle and
                       end, after which we can put it all together. This is how we summarize

                       a large story into 5 to 6 lines to help us understand the story quickly.



                       Learning outcome- The students are able recall the story of “The
                       caged lion and the dog”. They are also able to summarize and
                       sequence a story properly.
