Almost ten years ago was when I thought I saw an alien

spaceship. I was eating some sweets in my backyard

and I saw something sparkle in the sky. At first, I

thought it was just a plane but it looked quite different.

I saw it float through the clouds and then it shot

straight up into the sky. I decided to rush inside to tell

my mom. She was trying to chop vegetables for dinner.

I was nervous and thought the spaceship might blow-

up. My mom said not to worry because there was no

such thing as aliens. I ran back outside and saw the

spaceship disappear behind the mountains. I feel lucky

that I saw it and will never forget that day.
