Learning objective: The students will learn how to use a story map to
retell a story.
A story map is a map that we use to tell a story by dividing it into
parts.
A story map has a few different parts.
The title comes first. The title is the name of the story.
Story maps have three very important parts. The beginning, the
middle and end.
The beginning of the story map tells us important details like who are
our characters, where does the story take place and simply the
beginning our story.
The middle of the story map gives us the details about what is
happening in the story, usually the middle has a conflict or problem
that the characters in the story are having.
The end of the story map tells us how the problem was solved and
the moral of the story.
Learning outcome: The students learnt how to use a story map to
retell a story.
