It gives an indication about the
degree of internal consistency of the test.
                   - it is based on the assumption that items of a test if they are from the same domain
                   should correlate with each other.
                   - For finding out internal consistency, the test is divided into two equal halves
employing odd-even method and correlation is computed between the scores of odd
                   and even items.

               VALIDITY
 For a test to be usable, it should also be valid.
 It refers to checking if the test measure what it claims to measure.
 For example, if a test is constructed to measure intelligence, whether the test is
                   measuring intelligence or personality?

               NORMS

 When norms are developed for the test, a test becomes a standardised test.
 Norm is the normal or average performance of the group.
 This helps us in comparing the performance of an individual student with others
                       of the same group.

                   TYPES OF TESTS

 Psychological tests are classified on the basis of
                                                         1. Their language
                                                         2. Mode of administration
                                                         3. Difficulty level
                   1) Depending on the language, it is divided into ~ verbal
                                                                                                          ~ non-verbal
                                                                                                          ~ performance tests
                          a) Literacy is required for taking verbal tests as the items have to be written
                              in some language.
                          b) In non-verbal tests, items are made of symbols or pictures.
                          c) Performance tests require movement of objects from their respective places
                              in a particular order.
                   2) Depending on the mode of administration, tests are divided into
                                                                                                       ~ Individual tests
                                                                                                       ~ Group tests
                          a) An individual test :
