Meaning of Physical Fitness




          According to David R.Lamb , Physical fitness is the capacity

              to meet present  and potential physical challenges of life


              with success.


          Physical fitness is the ability to function effectively and


              efficiently  , to enjoy leisure , be healthy , resist fatigue and

              cope with the emergency situations.







          Physical fitness means the capacity of an individual to do the


              daily routine work without any fatigue or exertion and after

              doing the work the person has power to do some more


              work and recovery is quicker.
