IOC (International Olympic Committee)
The International Committee created by Pierre Baron on 23 rd
June 1894. It is committed to support & Promote Participation
in sports throughout the world.
• Demitrios Vikelas (Greek) he is the first President of IOC, its
membership consists of 105 active member & 32 Honorary
Members.
•The IOC organized the modern Olympic Games held in winter
& summer every 4 year.
•The first winter Olympic Games were held in Chamonx France
in 1924 to 1992
•In 2010 IOC has started to organized the Summer & winter
Youth Olympics
•The First Summer Youth Olympic Games were held in
Singapore 2010
•The first winter Youth Olympic Games were held in Innsbruk
2012
