 Agglomeration Economies:- Many Industries tend to come together to make use of the
advantages offered by the urban centre's known as agglomeration economies.
Gradually, a large industrial agglomeration takes place.
 Hinterland:-It is the inland region lying behind a port and is claimed by the state that
owns the coast.
 Industrial System:-
An industrial system consists of inputs, processes and outputs.
Input: Raw materials, labour, costs of land, transport, power and other infrastructure.
Process: All activities that convert the raw material into finished products.
Output: End/ Final/Finished product and the income earned from it.
