As per Ohm’s law the resistance of the conductor depends
(i) on its length,
(ii) on its area of cross-section, and
(iii) on the nature of its material
(iv) temperature.
Inference:
This experiment relates to the length of the wire and the cross-sectional area with
the resistance. It proves if we increase the length of an object or decrease its cross-
sectional area, its resistance will also increase proportionally.
