                    Versatile nature of Carbon

 Carbon is a versatile element and is found in many different chemical
compounds, including those found in space.

 A Versatile element is an element whose atom has the capability of
                         combining with many other elements.

 This can be achieved when an atom has tetravalency that is valency of 4 like
                         carbon & silicon.

 Carbon atoms make bonds with multiple other elements at the same time,
                         with monovalent or divalent atoms.

 Carbon is versatile because it can form single, double, and triple bonds.
It can also form chains, branched chains, and rings when connected.
