a) Aim:- To observe phototropism in plants.
Theory-Phototropism is directional or tropic movement of the plant part in response to
the sunlight.
Observation: Shoot is positively phototropic and negatively geotropic.
Inference :Light is responsible for the bending of branch towards sunlight.
b) Aim: To observe geotropism in plants.
Theory-Geotropism is a coordinated process of differential growth by a plant in
response to gravity pulling on it.
The following experimental set up tests the response of different parts of a plant
towards gravity.
