Activity---6.5(NCERT)
Aim: -To show that CO 2 is produced during Alcoholic Fermentation
Materials Required:
Yeast, some fruit juice or sugar solution, two test tubes, one holed cork, bent glass
tube, freshly prepared lime water.
How to proceed:
1. Take some fruit juice or sugar solution and add some yeast to this.
2. Take this mixture in a test tube fitted with a one-holed cork.
3. Fit the cork with a bent glass tube.
4. Dip the free end of the glass tube into a test tube containing freshly prepared
lime water.
