  A 2d or 2dimensional shapes can be defined as a flat plane

                       figure or a shape that has two dimensions – length and width.

                     Two-dimensional or 2-D shapes do not have any thickness and
                       can be measured in only two faces.

                     Some common 2d shapes are: Square, Triangle, rectangle and

                       Circle etc.

                     These shapes have sides and corners/vertices.






































               Learning Outcome: The child can draw and tell about different 2d

               shapes and their properties.
