7.4 USES OF WATER

Learning objective/Aim-The children will be aware of the

different uses of water.

 We use water for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing

clothes and dishes, brushing teeth, watering the plants,

washing pets etc

 Water is also used for growing crops in the fields, breeding

fish..

 We have so much of water on our planet but very less

water is available for drinking (potable).

Learning Outcome. The children will be able to explain the

different uses of water.
