Learning objective: Students will be able to identify the doing

words.

Explanation:

 Words that show or denote actions are called action

words. These words are also called doing words or verbs.

For e.g. walk, drink, smell, dance, sing, jump, come, go

 When we do something, we use doing words in

sentences.

 We use doing words when we talk, speak or write

something.

 Every action has a doing word for it.

 Action words are used to convey the actions in the form

of words.
