                                               ACTION IN PRESENT





        Learning objective : Students will be able to identify simple present

        tense of verbs.





        Explanation:


              Verbs have different forms. Actions are happening in present,

               actions have happened in the past and actions will happen in the

               future. These are different tenses of verb.

              Words which show action happening now or in the present are

               called simple present tense

              We use simple present tense to talk about things we do or which

               happens every day.

              The verbs in the simple present tense are used in sentences when

               we talk about actions that happen in the present.


        Example--- I brush my teeth twice a day.


                            The Earth revolves around the Sun.


              We use the verb with an ‘s’ with singular noun and without an ‘s’

               with a plural noun in case of simple present tense of verb.
