ACTION IN PRESENT
Learning objective : Students will be able to identify simple present
tense of verbs.
Explanation:
Verbs have different forms. Actions are happening in present,
actions have happened in the past and actions will happen in the
future. These are different tenses of verb.
Words which show action happening now or in the present are
called simple present tense
We use simple present tense to talk about things we do or which
happens every day.
The verbs in the simple present tense are used in sentences when
we talk about actions that happen in the present.
Example--- I brush my teeth twice a day.
The Earth revolves around the Sun.
We use the verb with an ‘s’ with singular noun and without an ‘s’
with a plural noun in case of simple present tense of verb.
