                      The  key elements of a Democratic government  are participation ,resolution
                        of conflicts ,equality and justice.
                      For a successful democracy ,it is important for people to participate in its
                        governance.
                      This participation takes place through voting in elections.
                      In India, general elections are held after every five years to keep a check on
                        the government.
                      The people in a democracy are active participants. They can make the
                        government change its decisions through demonstrations and protests.
                      People express their views in various ways like dharnas, rallies, strikes and
                        signature campaign
