2.  HARDNESS:-Some material can be compressed, so they are called soft. On the
                       other hand some cannot compress easily, they are termed as hard objects.

               SOFT AND HARD OBJECTS.

               TEXTURE:-The feel of any objects are called texture. Due to difference in texture,
               materials are of two types

               a) smooth

               b) rough.

               As for example a polished piece of marble has a smooth feel where as sand paper has
               rough surface.
