Saudi Arabia is the largest exporter of petroleum products in the world. It
also exports platinum, chrome, titanium and precious stones.
Agriculture is practised in a small part of the country for growing crops.
Crops grown here are wheat, rice, alfalafa and dates
Life of the People:
The Bedouins are nomadic people who travel from place to place.
They speak Arabic and travel in groups called caravan.
The traditional dress of the Arab men is a long white cotton gown with long
sleeves and a head gear.
Dairy products, dates, rice and meat are the major food items of the people
of Saudi Arabia.
Two famous places of worship- Mecca and Medina are located here.
The important cities of Saudi Arabia include Riyadh and Jeddah.
