               Sub-topic-1:- ADDITION FACTS And VERTICAL ADDITION


               Addition: Finding the total or sum by combining two or more numbers.



































               Addition Facts:

               1-The numbers to be added are called addends.


               Ex: 4+5 = 9

                     Addends

               Here 4 and 5 both are the numbers to be added. So, they are addends.

               2-The answer obtained after adding number is called sum.


               Ex: 4+5= 9

               Sum

               Here 9 is the answer of this addition. So, 9 is the sum.

               3-Change in the order of addends does not change the sum.
