When the noun is plural and ends with s we generally add only
apostrophe after – s to show the belongings.
Even in case of singular nouns ending with –s we add only apostrophe to
show possession.
The neighbours were waiting to see the new car that belongs to Iris.
The neighbours were waiting to see Iris’ new car.
Everyone was excited to know about the golf set owned by Avas.
Everyone was excited to know about Avas’ golf set.
Mr Kumar painted the kennel of the dogs.
Mr Kumar painted the dogs’ kennel.
Rohit delivered the toys belonging to the boys.
Rohit delivered the boys’ toys.
