NOTES:
A word used with nouns and pronouns to describe the person, animal, place or
thing is called as an Adjective.
Adjectives are generally placed before the nouns, but in some sentences, they
are placed after the verb.
Example: It is a pretty frock.
The frock is pretty.
In both the sentences, the word ‘pretty’ is describing the noun ‘frock’.
1. ADJECTIVE OF QUALITY
These adjectives give us more information about the quality of nouns.
Quality of noun includes color, size, age, material, shape.
Such adjectives answer the question - ‘What kind?’
