IDIOMS
• An idiom is a group of words which together
mean something different from what they
mean to suggest.
• In the chapter –Get under the skin is an idiom
which means to make us angry or annoy us.
• Ex-Ball is in your court-It is up to you to make
the next decision or step.
• Can’t judge a book by its cover-
Can’t judge someone primarily on
appearance.
