Topic: Sharing by Distribution

             Sub-topic: Let’s distribute the group of objects.

             Learning Objective:

                •  To share the whole object fairly by cutting the object in to equally

                    sized parts.
             DISCUSSION-

                    Different ways of distributing the group of objects.
                •  Group of Objects.

                •  Distribution of objects.

                •  Sharing the objects equally.

                •  Inform the students about how to share collections of objects
                    fairly between two or more people.

                •  Discuss with the students about how to share six objects equally

                    between two persons.

                    Activity: One for you One for me

                •  Will take two toys and a pile of counters and share among the two.
                •  This activity can be extended to more toys and different numbers
                    of counters.

                •  Odd number of items to be given to share.

                •   Discussion will be done on what to do with left over toys/ blocks.

                •  Have you given the same number of toys to your friends?
                •  How can you share the whole object among two people?
