TOPIC- Wonderful Water
SUB TOPIC- Animal Habitat
LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To understand that animals need a special place to
live to stay safe and healthy.
DISCUSSION-
• Sharing types of habitats (forest, mountain, snow, land, water, & desert)
with pictures.
• Some animals stay on land, while some live in water.
• A few animals stay on both land and water.
o Land animals- Tiger, elephant, lion, rat, cat, horse, zebra, dog, etc.
o Water animals- Fish, octopus, starfish, lobsters, jellyfish, etc.
o Land and Water-Turtles, crocodiles, alligators, frogs, and snakes,
etc.
• Pretend the sound and the movement of the animals.
• Like humans, animals also need shelter to live and protect themselves from
rain, heat, cold & wind.
• Activity: Movement Game- Pretend like animals!
