When the Object Is Between the Pole and the Focus

Consider a ray of light parallel to the principal axis and another ray passing
through the center of curvature. After reflection, the ray that passes through the
center of curvature retraces its path, and the other ray that is parallel to the
principal axis passes through the focus. When the reflected rays are extended
backwards, these rays appear to meet behind the mirror. The image is erect, virtual,
and magnified. The image is:
