                           Soil and climatic conditions:
                           i)  Grows well in alluvial soil. River deltas are ideal for it.
                           ii)  Requires high temperature and humid climate. So grows well in tropical areas.
                           iii)  Requires heavy rainfall.

                         Ans. Agricultural development an be achieved in various ways:-
                         i) Increasing the cropped areas
                         ii) Number of crops grown.
                         iii) Improving the irrigational facilities
                         iv) Use of fertilizers
                         v) Use of High yielding variety of seeds
                         vi) Mechanisation of agriculture.

                         Ans. A] It’s concerned with production of raw material. Two-thirds of India’s
                         population is dependent on agriculture.
                         B] India is a vast country with different types of soil and climate. So different types of
                         crops are grown in different regions.
