5. Ordinal numbers
They follow other determiners in a sentence (e.g., your sixth birthday).
I think the third man in the lineup is the thief.
6. Quantitative Determiners
These determiners show the quality/quantity of objects. The words like some,
most, many, much, little, few, etc., belong to this category.
Can you add a little sugar in my milk?
Some kids in the contest were really naughty.
7. Interrogative Determiners
The words (which, what, whose) that ask questions or exclaim emotions are
interrogative determiners. Just like all other determiners, interrogative
determiners are also followed by a noun.
Whose book is this?
Which subject are you interested in?
8. Distributive determiners-
A distributive determiner is a word that is used to refer to a group, an individual
who is a part of a group, a number of other things, etc. They show how something
is shared, divided or distributed. Distributive determiners include words such as
‘each’, ‘every’, ‘all’, ‘half’, ‘either’, ‘neither’, ‘only’, ‘both’ and so on.
All the children were playing.
Every child in this class is unique.
