               1. Was Sachin only interested in batting from the very beginning?
               Ans: No, Sachin was interested in both batting and bowling.

               2. How could Sachin perform well at the summer camp trials?

               Ans:  Sachin was nervous in the presence of Achrekar sir and hence couldn’t prove his mettle at first
               and hence was refused admission in the summer camp. However, Ajit requested Achrekar sir to give
               Sachin a second chance and request him to move away as his presence was making Sachin nervous.
               Sir complied and Sachin hit the ball well and was permitted to join the camp.
               3. Describe the daily routine of Sachin and his uniform.

               Ans: Sachin’s daily routine was to wash his only set of cricket clothes as soon as he returned home
               from his morning practise session. He would dry them during lunch and would wear them again in the
               afternoon. The pattern was repeated in the evening so that he could wear the same set of clothes the
               following morning. Sachin stated that this system worked well for him, apart from his pockets which
               remained wet throughout the season.

               4. How did Sachin find changing school beneficial?

               Ans: Sachin old school had no cricket facility. As Sachin wanted to pursue cricket seriously, he changed
               his school and moved to Shardashram which had all the facilities. Achrekar sir was the cricket coach
               there and coached cricket after school and regularly conducted summer camps.
               5. Why was the final incident not a ‘happy occurrence’?

               Ans: When Sachin’s name duly appeared in the paper, Achrekar sir was unhappy and told Sachin off
               for  consenting  the  addition  of  extra  six  runs  to  his  score.  Sachin  acknowledged  his  mistake  and
               promised never to allow such thing to happen again.
