2- The ‘Upaniṣhads’ built upon established Vedic concepts and introduced new
ones, such as rebirth and karma.
3- Vedanta believed everything is one divine essence called “Brahman”.
4- The Upanishads also introduced the concept of atman (individual soul) and
brahman (universal soul). The brahman is connected to each and every atman in
the world.
5- Together, these schools of thought formed the basis of Sanatan Dharma, which
we commonly know as Hinduism.
