Relation to Number Sequence

Shape sequences are often connected to number sequences, revealing interesting patterns that help
in understanding both. For example, in regular polygons, the number of sides follows counting
numbers starting from 3 (triangle) and continues as 4 (quadrilateral), 5 (pentagon), 6 (hexagon), and
so on. These shapes, called regular because their sides and angles are equal, demonstrate the
relationship between shapes and number sequences. More about angles will be covered in the next
chapter.
