Examples:
• Happy – joyful, cheerful, content
• Fast – quick, speedy, rapid
• Smart – intelligent, clever, bright
• Begin – start, commence, initiate
• Small – little, tiny, petite
Antonyms:

• Antonyms express opposite meanings.
• They are useful for showing contrast in ideas or feelings.
• Antonyms can be formed by adding prefixes or using completely different words.
Examples:
• Hot – cold
• Up – down
• Kind – cruel
• Win – lose
• Soft – hard
