               MM-3.1 Directions and classification of directions


               Learning Objectives:  Children will get familiar with different
               geographical directions.
























                     The four main points of a compass north, south, east, and
                       west are the cardinal directions.

                     They are also known by their first letters: N,S,E, and W.
                     The directions on the compass that are between the cardinal
                       points are called northeast, southeast, southwest and

                       northwest.
                     These are called intermediate directions.


               Activity :- Findout the directions to your nearby places like bank, grocery

               store and school etc. in your area.Find out if these places located to
               east, west, north or south of your house.



               Learning Outcome:  Children got familiar with different geographical

               directions.
