LN – Can Solid Behave Like Liquid
Learning Objectives-
➢ Students can describe how some solids behave like liquids.
➢ Students can identify the difference between solids and powders.
Students can make a prediction for an investigation.
Activity-
• Teacher will explain that some solids like
sand, sugar or salt are similar to liquids. We
can pour them and they can take shape of any
container.
• These solids are sometimes called powders.
• Children will be divided into groups.
• Each group will be given one box of play
dough and some salt or sand. Students will
observe and compare the behavior of sand
and clay when poured or shaped.
• Students will explore the properties of solids
and how they can differ based on particle size
and composition.
Learning outcome-
A B
• Understanding Material Behavior.
• Distinguishing Material Types.
• Applying Knowledge to Real-World Scenarios.
• Exploring Advanced Concepts.
