LN - HOW CAN WE SEE THINGS
Learning Objective: Students will be able to understand the concept of luminous and
non-luminous objects.
Students will understand that they can see an object because light reflects off the object into
our eyes.
1. Luminous objects – Objects that give out or emit light
of its own are called luminous objects.
Ex-Lamp, Sun
2. Non-Luminous objects - Objects that do not give out or
emit light of its own are called non-luminous objects.
Ex- table, pencil
How we can see things
We are able to see objects when light from a luminous
source reflects off non-luminous objects and enters our
eyes.
