What is Regrouping?
● Regrouping means moving numbers from
one column to another
● We do this when a column has more than 9
● For example, if we get 14 in the ones
column, we write 4 and move 1 to the tens
● It's like packing 10 ones into a bundle of
ten
● Can you think of other times we regroup in
math?
