               The growing of a seed into a new plant is called germination of seed. A
               seed needs air, water, warmth for germination. A germination seed needs

               air to breathe. The seeds sown deeper in the soil do not germinate
               because they do not get sufficient amount of air to breathe. Water is
               required to make the seed coat soft. The warmth makes the seed active to

               grow.

               Conditions required for the growth of a seed:


                             •  Moisture
                             •  Warmth

                             •  Nutrients rich soil
                             •  Sunlight

                             •  Good seed
