               Ordering  fractions  is  arranging  a  set  of  fractions  from  least  to  greatest

               (ascending order) or from greatest to least (descending order).

               To  do  this  we  rewrite  the  fractions  so  that  they  have  the  same
               denominators which we can then compare.

               Example:

                       Same denominators                                        Same numerators












               Learning outcome: Students were able to accurately compare and order
               fractions  by  using  visual  models  and  understanding  numerators  and

               denominators.
