We know Division means to split, to divide, to separate and to
group something into equal parts.
Suppose you had eight cookies to share with a friend evenly or
equally. Each of you would get four cookies: 8 ÷ 2 = 4.
Remember the sentence equation-
Total ÷ number of groups = Number in each group.

In division, we show many and ask for each or one.
