LN- Multiplying numbers by 10

Learning Objective: Students will understand and apply the concept of
multiplying numbers by 10 using multiplication rules.

What Does It Mean to Multiply by 10?

 Multiplying a number by 10 means you are increasing that number 10
times.
Example:
5 × 10 = 50
This means 5 groups of 10 or 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 50

 To multiply a number by 10, just add a zero (0) at the end of the

number.
