• Based on real people or events but exaggerated or altered
over time.
• Focus on heroes, warriors, and historical figures.
• Set in more recent times than myths but often include
fantastical elements.
• Often include a moral or lesson.
• Examples:
• King Arthur: The legendary British king and his knights of
the Round Table.
• Robin Hood: The outlaw who "stole from the rich and gave
to the poor."
